Francisco E. Suarez

Biography

Dr. Francisco Suarez grew up in Glendale,CA and his sense of duty in dedicating a life of service to his patients and the local community has been grounded through his Jesuit education at Loyola High School of Los Angeles. After high school, he received his Bachelors in Biological Sciences from the University of California Irvine, then continued to  complete his dental school education  at UCLA, where he earned his  Doctorate in Dental Surgery.  With roots as an oral surgeon’s assistant first during his college years, he was driven to pursue higher education and completed his residency training  in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA.  

At the completion of his residency training, Dr. Suarez was invited to complete a fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and obtained additional training as an attending physician and fellow in residency training, servicing patients of  Southern California in the Kaiser Permanente system. After his training, he has been in private practice and continues to maintain his dental licenses in the state of California and Alaska along with certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He is also involved in residency training during his fellowship.

In person, Dr. Suarez has been known to have an easy-going, approachable demeanor with kindness, and always trying to help others before himself. He dedicates his time  to improving his surgical technique and continues to be an open book.  He has clinical interests in dental extractions, dental implantology and maxillofacial reconstruction, maxillofacial pathology, orthognathic surgery, trauma surgery, anesthesia, medical management of the medically compromised patient, temporomandibular joint disorders, and making the patient experience as easy as possible.

Dr. Suarez believes in his ability to make his patients feel safe, comfortable, and reassured. Those that have worked with him in the past applaud his patience, dedication to excellence, and he’s been known to be one of the easiest surgeons to talk to.  

In his free time, Dr. Suarez enjoys outdoor recreation in rock climbing, hiking, camping, sailing, and frequently exploring Alaska. His love of Alaska has led him to extend his reach through community service and providing access to care for the underserved.
